Aleksandra Aleksander is an emerging producer, production manager, development consultant and script advisor working in the audiovisual field since 2015. She runs ALE ALE, an independent production and consulting practice, collaborating with filmmakers and institutions both locally and internationally.
She specialises in the development and production of fiction and documentary films, as well as strategic consultancy for producers, creators and audiovisual professionals.
Aleksandra focuses on working with filmmakers and companies committed to bold, socially engaged storytelling that responds to contemporary shifts and helps reimagine dominant narratives. In story development, her priority is always to uncover the emotional truth of the protagonist and how it resonates with the world we are collectively learning to redefine. She is especially drawn to projects that combine innovative narrative approaches with universal themes.
Previously, she worked at the Warsaw-based agency and production company Match&Spark, where she gained extensive experience in collaboration with established directors (including Anna Jadowska, Kuba Mikurda and Kuba Czekaj), project financing, negotiation, on-set production, and international team coordination. She participated in the development and production of fiction films, documentaries, music videos and commercial campaigns, while also working as a talent agent on award-winning features and series.
She holds a Master’s degree in Film & TV Production from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice and a postgraduate degree in Gender Studies from the Polish Academy of Sciences. She is a graduate of multiple international programs including MIDPOINT Feature Launch, MFI Script2Film, and the Wajda School’s Creative Development course.
In 2022, Aleksandra was awarded the prestigious Rotterdam Lab Award for her collaborative approach and versatility in cross-cultural and multidisciplinary projects.
