Call for projects!

Script Pool highlights five international projects and the team behind them - director, scriptwriter, and producer.
The aim is to gather film projects with international potential, high distribution value, a final draft in place, and some financing secured.

There must be a script in place!

The most promising Script Pool project will be awarded an exclusive opportunity by TEGOS Legal to attend The Writer’s Retreat in Mallorca!

The call is opened on 1 May and closed on 15 July 2025.

During the submission process, you will be asked to log in with your Black Nights Film Festival account or sign up if you do not already have one.

The submissions are open until 15th of July.

About Script Pool 2025

In 2025 Script Pool open sessions include:

• tailor made workshops by International Screen Institute
• The Business of Film with Patrick Fischer

The closed sessions for selected participants only inlcude:

• Pitching workshop with David Pope
• One to one session with script editor Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten
• Sales and festival strategy feedback with Julia Short, among other events.

All Script Pool teams meet with talent agents and casting professionals to discuss their projects and work in the industry.
