
Roberto Schaefer, ASC. AIC, is a BAFTA-nominated cinematographer with a distinguished career in film. He began his journey in Europe, where he worked alongside renowned directors such as Martin Scorsese and Nestor Almendros.
After moving to Los Angeles, Schaefer formed a notable collaboration with director Chris Guest, with whom he shot classic films including Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and For Your Consideration. He then embarked on an extensive creative partnership with director Marc Forster, serving as the cinematographer on nine films, including acclaimed works like Monster's Ball, Finding Neverland, and Quantum of Solace.

Rauno Ronkainen FSC is a Helsinki-based cinematographer with over 15 years of experience in feature films and television dramas. He began his career in the early 90s, studying cinematography at the University of Industrial Design in Helsinki. His extensive body of work includes 19 feature films, numerous long-form TV series, commercials, and documentaries.
Throughout his career, Rauno has focused on blending traditional and cutting-edge techniques. His work is deeply rooted in close collaboration with actors and directors, with a strong interest in the dramaturgy and content of the script. His working philosophy is based on meticulous pre-production and a shared passion for the story with his team.
In addition to his professional work as a freelance cinematographer, he has also served as a professor of cinematography at Aalto University.

John Christian Rosenlund is one of Norway’s most experienced cinematographers, with more than four decades in film and television. He began his career as an actor before moving into documentary and music video production, later establishing himself in feature film. His work reflects a consistent pursuit of visual authenticity, combining artistic sensitivity with technical precision. Rosenlund has photographed over forty feature films, major television dramas, and hundreds of commercials, collaborating with leading Scandinavian and international directors including Erik Poppe, Bent Hamer, Per Fly, Roar Uthaug, and Per Olav Sørensen. With a background that bridges art, technology, and storytelling, he has contributed to both the creative and technical development of the film industry. As founder of Drylab and Softlights, he has helped modernize film production workflows and lighting design, while his involvement in the FNF and IMAGO Technical Committee reflects a long-standing engagement in cinematographic craft and ethics.
Philippe Ros AFC is a highly respected French cinematographer and digital imaging expert. After graduating from the Ecole Nationale Louis Lumière in Paris, he spent over a decade as a camera assistant, specializing in "intuitive focusing" for world-renowned operators.
Early in his career, Ros distinguished himself with his shoulder-held camera work, which led to a specialization in shooting live concerts, music documentaries, and commercials as a lighting director. As a director of photography, he has worked on numerous TV movies and feature films, including the lighting design for the popular TV series Kaamelott.
He is a recognized expert in digital intermediate and has led numerous international seminars and workshops on the subject. His notable projects as a technical supervisor include Yann Arthus-Bertrand's feature film Home, which was shot exclusively from helicopters, and the five-and-a-half-year production of Oceans, where he was responsible for the quality of all underwater and microscopic sequences. He also worked on the Bot-Trilogy, a series of short films that became a reference for 4K digital intermediate.
Ros is a member of the French Association of Directors of Photography (AFC), co-chairman of the Technical Committee of Imago, an honorary member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC), and a member of the Superior Technical Committee of Image and Sound (CST). He is a graduate of France's National Institute of Cinematography Louis Lumière.
Ville Penttilä FSC ICLS is a Helsinki-based gaffer with over 15 years of experience in feature films and television dramas. After starting his career in the film industry as a runner and PA, he discovered his passion for lighting and climbed the ranks by working closely with talented cinematographers.
His extensive filmography includes collaborations with world-renowned directors and cinematographers. He served as chief lighting technician on Christopher Nolan's Tenet and worked as a gaffer on films such as The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, The Eternal Road, and The Fire Eater.
In addition to his professional work, Ville is a Professor of Cinematography at Aalto University, where he shares his knowledge of combining traditional and the latest lighting techniques. His work philosophy is centered on close collaboration, careful pre-production, and a shared passion for storytelling.
