Black Nights Stars Jury

In its 9th edition, the Black Nights Stars program at Discovery Campus Festival will present eight up-and-coming acting talents from the Baltic Sea region. Check the participants here

The promising young talents from the Baltic Sea region were selected by an international jury of professionals, incuding Casting Directors Luci Lenox from Spain and the UK, Frank Moiselle from the UK and Ireland, Minna Sorvoja from Finland, Magdalena Szwarcbart from Poland, Heli Jürisson, casting director from Estonia, Dragan Greensmith, talent agent from Serbia and Sten Hassing Møller, talent agent from Sweden.

Minna Sorvoja is a Finnish casting director who has been working in the film industry since the 1990s. She has cast both domestic and international productions in film, television, and advertising. Minna is known for titles such as THE SUMMERBOOK by Charlie McDowell, JIMPA by Sophie Hyde, premiering at Sundance 2025; LITTLE SIBERIA, the first Netflix original from Finland; and TV series RAHA-SUOMI, ROBA, and ICEBREAKER. Minna is a member of the European Film Academy and the International Casting Directors Association (ICDA).

Frank Moiselle, CSA, ICDA, CDG, is a Casting Director. Frank began his career in casting as Casting Assistant to Nuala Moiselle on John Huston's feature film adaptation of James Joyce's THE DEAD. As Casting Director, he has worked with acclaimed directors such as Jim Sheridan’s THE SECRET SCRIPTURE, IN AMERICA; Joel Schumacher’s VERONICA GUERIN; Gillies MacKinnon’s TARA ROAD, and Neil Jordan’s ONDINE. For TV, he has cast BALLYKISSANGEL (BBC), THE TUDORS, THE BORGIAS, and PENNY DREADFUL (Showtime), VIKINGS (History/MGM), VIKINGS: VALHALLA (Netflix/MGM), Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale (AMC), Borderline (Roku), and HARRY WILD (Acorn). Frank is a three-time, prime-time Emmy nominee for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series. He is a member of the European Film Academy, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, and holds a Higher Diploma in Education from the National University of Ireland, University College Dublin.

Heli Jürisson is an established casting director in Estonia, the Baltics & the Northern region. Throughout the last 13 years, she has worked on both domestic and international film projects, helping bring fresh & alternative faces to film and TV screens for Nordisk Film, Warner Bros, Paramount & many more. She has a very personal approach to her work and is very detail-oriented - this is because her background is heavily in production, and she continues to sometimes work as a 3rd AD on sets, so she always sees the bigger picture. Heli worked on productions such as TENET by Christopher Nolan, BIRTHDAY GIRL by Michael Noer, AZRAEL by E.L. Katz, and Tv series THE AGENCY: CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE. She is the newest member of the ICDA - International Casting Directors Association.

Luci Lenox is an award-winning casting director based in Spain with more than 150 productions to her name. She has collaborated with Netflix, AMC, Amazon, BBC, Hulu, Lionsgate, Paramount, Disney, amongst others, as well as numerous Spanish and European producers. Films she has cast have collected over 300 awards at international festivals and taken more than a billion dollars at box offices around the world.
Her eclectic background includes managing Barcelona nightclubs, working at MTV Europe, touring with a rock band, and producing cultural events such as Barcelona’s Millennium Celebration and Circuit fashion week. With professional experience across Europe, Africa, and Latin America, Luci brings a global outlook to her work. She founded The Actors Home, advocates for diversity through CSA and APDICE, serves on film festival juries, and is a member of both the European Film Academy and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Magdalena Szwarcbart is a Polish casting director based in Warsaw. After her studies (master's degree of cultural studies and Film School in Lodz), since 1984, she has had an opportunity to learn from great Polish and international directors (including Krzysztof Zanussi, Andrzej Wajda, Agnieszka Holland, Wojtek Smarzowski, Costa Gavras, Volker Schlondorf, etc.). Among others, she worked on casting for three Oscar-winning films (or nominated for): SCHINDLERS LIST by Steven Spielberg, COLD WAR by Paweł Pawlikowski, and THE ZONE OF INTEREST by Jonathan Glazer.

She considers the greatest reward to be the fact that out of 10 Polish films selected in an audience poll as the best and most important in Poland in the last 25 years, she worked on the casting for five. She is a member of the Polish Film Academy, European Film Academy, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and International Casting Directors Association.

Sten Hassing Clement Møller - Manager and agent, CEO TeamPlayers Agency in Denmark. Sten was the marketing manager at The Royal Danish Theatre for more than five years. In 2006, he was one of the founders of Team Players talent agency in Copenhagen, Denmark, of which he is now the sole owner, and it has now become one of the biggest Scandinavian agencies. In 2015, in collaboration with Hennemann Agency in Holland and Spielkind Agency in Germany, he founded European Talent Network / ETN, the international talent agency network.
Sten started his career as an account executive at an Advertising Agency in Denmark, before taking up the position as the marketing manager of the department store chain Edeka Denmark Detail for four years. This was followed by two years as the event and decoration manager in Denmark´s largest decoration company, and four years as the lead producer in his own theatrical production company, Theater2Production. For years, Sten has been a personal marketing teacher for artists at The Danish National School of Theatre.

Dragan Greensmith is the founder and managing talent agent at Greensmith Artists, an international talent and management agency based in Belgrade, Serbia, representing actors, directors, and multidisciplinary creatives across film, television, and theatre. Since establishing the agency in 1989, he has been recognized for his curatorial precision and long-term approach to artist representation in both European and international markets. His clients have appeared in acclaimed productions such as T2 Trainspotting, The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent, Dune, Blade Runner, Red Sparrow, 3AM, The Father, Next ..., with their work premiering and winning awards at major festivals including Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, Toronto, Locarno, and Karlovy Vary. Originally trained as a theatre director, Dragan brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his work, overseeing representation and creative direction across the agency’s artist, fashion, and production divisions. He remains committed to fostering purposeful creative careers and advancing new European voices in global cinema and television.
