Sabine Hviid has received a MA degree in Production Design at The National Film & Television School in 2004. Since then she has designed a varied number of films in Denmark and abroad from indie horror, to period drama. Moving between different genres is something that she really loves.
Sabine has received the State Arts Fond honorary award and The Nordic Film travel prize in 2017, which took her on an inspirational journey to new destinations. Ever since then travelling has been an essential part of her inspiration helping bring stories and experiences found in remote areas and secret environments alive on the silver screen.
