One-dimentional Man

Raul's father Viktor, a Soviet-era Estonian militia officer, shaped his son with communist ideology. Raul was raised in a violent and pathological attitude of the despotic father, blindly driven by the ideology. Driven by his jealousy of his wife and her bohemian lifestyle, Viktor, being a high ranking KGB officer, stated her as a predator against the Soviet nation, and one early morning she is taken by KGB agents to an unknown destination.

Biography of the director Andres Puustusmaa:

Andres Puustusmaa is Estonian director and former actor. In 1994 he graduated from The Drama School of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and started working in Estonian Drama Theatre. In 2002, he went to Moscow to study directing at the High Courses for scriptwriters and Film Directors (VGIK). As a director, Andres Puustusmaa has made films in different genres, but he always adds a unique artistic sensibility and deep knowledge of motivations behind human actions.

Profile of the production company LEO Films:

LEO Films is a Tallinn based film company established in 2015. Company is focused on fiction film production. During last years, LEO has produced 4 feature films and 7 shorts, which were premiered at various international film festivals such as: Shanghai IFF, Warsaw FF, Rome Film Fest, Tallinn Black. Nights IFF, Cottbus Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand ISFF, Cairo IFF, Moscow IFF etc. Currently “LEO” team is working on few projects on different stages of production and development.
