As Head of Development, then Head of Film, at Granada, Pippa oversaw production of the full feature slate, including Jim Sheridan's My Left Foot and The Field, Jack and Sarah, House of Mirth, Longitude for Channel 4, and Paul Greengrass’s Bloody Sunday. In 2003 she and Janette Day established CrossDay Productions. Credits there include Shooting Dogs (Michael Caton-Jones), Chalet Girl, starring Felicity Jones, 100 Streets starring Idris Elba and Gemma Arterton, and Starfish with Joanne Froggatt.
Irish co-production The Last Right directed by Aoife Crehan was released in December 2019 after winning the Audience Award at the Cork Film Festival. Made in Italy, written and directed by James D’Arcy, saw Liam Neeson star with his son Micheál Richardson in a father/son story shot in Tuscany and released by IFC in the US and Lionsgate/Amazon in the UK in 2020. Sentinel, directed by Estonia’s own Tanel Toom, is an Estonian/German/UK production shot in 2021 in Tallinn, now in post.
Pippa served on the board of the UK Film Council, has tutored for Microwave, and has worked consistently with young producers, directors and writers offering what practical advice she can.
