Producer Matthew James Wilkinson previously worked as a Development Executive at Working Title Films. His company Stigma Films has produced twelve features to date.

Currently completing post production on a Sky Original feature, LAST TRAIN TO CHRISTMAS, starring Michael Sheen and Nathalie Emmanuel which will air this Christmas.

Their feature, CURS>R, starring Asa Butterfield, Iola Evans & Eddie Marsan recently sold to Netflix Worldwide.

This year, Matthew also worked on the WWII thriller, BURIAL, and sci-fi thriller SENTINEL, which are both being sold by Altitude Film Sales at this year's AFM..

He previously produced, YESTERDAY, for Working Title Films/Universal, written by Richard Curtis and directed by Danny Boyle.

Romola Garai's feature debut, AMULET, starring Carla Juri, Alec Secareanu and Imelda Staunton, exec produced by Damian Jones, premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2020.

Simon Bird's feature debut, DAYS OF THE BAGNOLD SUMMER, starring Monica Dolan, Earl Cave, Rob Brydon, Alice Lowe and Tim Key had its World Premiere at Locarno, and also played that the London Film Festival. Released in June 2020, to rave reviews, writer Lisa Owens' was nominated for a BIFA for 'Best Debut Screenplay'.

Gerard Johnson's black comedy, MUSCLE had its World Premiere at London Film Festival, and was also nominated for a BIFA, for the 'Discovery Award'. The film also played Tallinn Black Nights, where its lead Cavan Clerkin won the 'Best Actor Award'.

Other previous titles include, contained thriller, KALEIDOSCOPE, starring Toby Jones and Anne Reid, which launched at the Edinburgh Film Festival, winning Anne Reid the 'Best Actress Award'. The film aired on Film4 and was released by IFC Midnight in the US.

Comedy/horror, DOUBLE DATE, starring Michael Socha and Georgia Groome was selected for Karlovy Vary, and went on to play FrightFest UK, winning Writer/Actor Danny Morgan the 'Genre Rising Star Award'. It won the 'Best Film' prize at Strasbourg.

Stigma also produced, FLOOR 9.5, a horror/chiller for Fox/Ryan Murphy (exec), which aired on US TV, to great acclaim, as part of the Mars/Skittle 'Halloween' season of shorts.

Stigma's BFI-backed ghost story-horror, THE POWER, for Brit List writer/director Corinna Faith, was released on Shudder earlier this year in the US and UK. It was certified 'fresh' on Rotten Tomatoes.

Heist musical, THE SCORE, starring Johnny Flynn (EMMA), Will Poulter (MIDSOMMER) and Naomi Ackie (STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER) will have its World Premiere at Tallinn's Black Nights Festival in 2021.

Matthew served as part of the 'Rebels with a Cause' Jury for Tallinn Black Night's Film Festival in 2020.
