Margaret Milner Schmueck is a film producer based in the East Midlands who working under her company Split Second Films has produced a successful raft of short and animation films and one feature film horror/comedy “INBRED” released in 2012 and which sold across the world. Following time out with her young family, Margaret is now developing a focused slate of projects. Margaret is in Talinn to find co-producers and partners from Poland and Baltic countries with coastline, for her Finnish book adaptation (KARIKKO) film project THE REEF being developed with Germany which is planned to shoot on the Baltic Coast summer 2023. Margaret is also interested in connecting with writers, directors and producers for other projects.

Based in the Midlands in the UK it is an award winning media company having produced a catalogue of award winning short films, live action and animations which were commissioned by the industry as well as privately. The company's debut feature film was horror/comedy “INBRED” (2012) which won a raft of technical and audience awards and was sold across the world by Arclight Films. Split Second Films is committed to making films that portray strong character driven stories or genre stories with compelling drama at the heart; dark comedy, horror, road film, soft sci-fi and coming-of-age.
